AMIDE: Amide's a Medical Imaging Data Examiner |
Microsoft Windows Installation Instructions for versions 0.8.xNote - these are notes for installation of the 0.8.x versions of AMIDE. See this documentation for installation of current versions of AMIDE. The windows version currently has the following differences:
BinariesGet and install the Dropline version of GTK+ for Windows. You will only need the runtime package. Note, you need the current version (2.2.4-3) of this runtime package to run the latest versions of AMIDE. If you have an older version of the GTK+ runtime package, you will need to upgrade this when you upgrade AMIDE. The amide installation program should contain everything else you need. Head to the windows section of the AMIDE download page, and get the file entitled
amide-VERSION_NUM_install.exe
ISO CDErik Nolf has put together an iso image that contains a complete install of AMIDE and can be burnt onto a CD. This is most useful if you want to distribute medical imaging data sets on a CD, and want to include a free viewer program with the data. Head to the AMIDE download page to grab the iso image. Building from SourceThis is a long and arduous process. If you want to do AMIDE development, you're probably better off operating in a better supported operating system environment (e.g. Linux). Still want to proceed? Notes on the process for version 0.8.x are available here. |
