Microsoft Windows Installation Instructions
Note: As of 0.9.0, AMIDE no longer requires a GTK+ runtime to be
installed, as the AMIDE package includes all the necessary files. If
you have used a version of AMIDE prior to 0.9.0, you can now uninstall
the GTK+ runtime that is on your system.
Binaries
The amide installation program should contain everything else you
need. Head to
the windows
section of the AMIDE download page, and get the file entitled
amide-VERSION_NUM_install.exe
Building from Source
This is a long and arduous process. If you want to do AMIDE
development, you're probably better off operating in a better
supported operating system environment (e.g. Linux). Still want to
proceed? Notes on the current process for version 0.9.0 and up can be
found here.
Old Notes
If you're trying to install on of the old versions of AMIDE from the
0.8.x series, look here.
